Unemployment Rate and Property Crime

We need to understand why crime occurs in order to be to alleviate the matter. Surprisingly, Unemployment does not appear to have too strong of a relationship when it comes to Property Crime. Do not rule out Unemployment as a factor entirely, there is still a slight connection, however, other aspects seem to be further aiding the rate of crime beyond what bare numbers can tell. Studying unemployment more adeptly looks like the next step.
